Are you an artist, performer, or model looking for a place to showcase your creativity, celebrate the human form, and join a vibrant, supportive community? At Nude Art LA, we’re always seeking new talent to bring fresh perspectives and energy to our events.
Here’s everything you need to know about getting involved—whether you’re a painter, sculptor, photographer, dancer, musician, or someone with a unique act that fits our mission.
What We’re Looking For
Nude Art LA is built on the belief that the human body is worthy of artistic celebration—free from shame, stigma, or exploitation. Our selection process is rooted in respect, inclusion, and artistic integrity. We welcome submissions from:
- Visual artists: Painters, photographers, sculptors, mixed media artists, and illustrators whose work explores the human form in a non-sexualized, thoughtful way.
- Performers: Dancers (including burlesque and aerialists), musicians, comedians, spoken word artists, and more. We love acts that are bold, original, and align with our values.
- Models: Individuals of all body types, ages (over 18), and backgrounds who are comfortable posing nude for live figure sketching, body painting, or performance art.
How to Apply
- Watch for Calls for Submissions: We announce upcoming events and open calls on our website, social media, and email newsletter. Be sure to follow us so you don’t miss your chance!
- Prepare Your Materials:
- Artists: Submit a portfolio (up to 10 images) of work you intend to show at Nude Art LA if accepted, a brief statement about your work, and why you want to be part of Nude Art LA. Don’t worry, prompts for all of that will be in the Call for Artists form when it goes live.
- Performers: Share a video or reel of your act, plus a description of your performance and how it fits our mission via our Call for Performers form when it goes live.
- Models: Send a brief bio and a photo or portfolio, preferably nude (if you are comfortable doing so). Tell us about your experience and what draws you to figure modeling in our Call for Models form when it goes live.
- Submit Online: We make it easy to apply through our online forms. If you have questions, our team is always happy to help guide you.
- Selection Process: Our curation team reviews every submission with care. We look for quality, originality, and a clear alignment with our values. We’ll reach out to selected participants for interviews (when applicable), additional info, or to discuss logistics.
What to Expect
If you’re selected, you’ll join a supportive community that values collaboration, creativity, and respect.
- Artists will help set up their work, chat with guests, and may even create live during the event.
- Performers will coordinate with our team to ensure they have everything they need on the day of the event, and share the stage with other talented acts.
- Models will be briefed on poses, timing, and how to interact with both artists and guests.
We work hard to make sure everyone feels comfortable, celebrated, and inspired.
We will also create an affiliate program for ticket sales and encourage everyone to sign up. It’s a great way to support the show and make a little extra income from the experience while you’re at it!
